Rhode Island Inspectors
Education Requirement
Rhode Island home inspectors are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years (24-month cycle) in order to renew their license. These courses must be approved by the state, and at least one hour must cover Standards of Practice or ethics.
Hours - 12
As a condition for renewal of licensure, a home inspector or associate
home inspector shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing
education courses during each two (2) year licensing period.
