At Cornerstone Home Inspector Education Center, we ensure that all courses align with the official state laws and regulatory requirements. Below are the mandatory ethics and Standards of Practice (SOP) requirements for licensed home inspectors in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
Connecticut The Connecticut Law will be In-Person at Basement Systems of Ct Seymour.

Continuing Education Requirement:

20 hours annually

3 of those hours must be in laws, regulations, ethics, or standards of practice

Massachusetts

Continuing Education Requirement:

12 hours every 2 years
-
4 Hours Must include training in professional ethics and Standards of Practice (Live only)

Rhode Island
-
Continuing Education Requirement:

20 hours every 2 years
-
2 Hours Must include Ethics and Standards of Practice training

New Jersey
-
Continuing Education Requirement:

40 hours every 2 years

4 hours must be in professional Ethics and Standards
